Reorganize is a submenu of the Outline menu. It allows you to move selected headlines and reorganize information within your outline; when chosen, Reorganize displays a submenu with the following commands:
Left Moves selected headline left (up one level). When you move a headline left one position, all its subordinate headlines and document windows move with it.
Right Moves selected headline right (down one level). When you move a headline right one position, all its subordinate headlines and documents move with it.
Up Moves selected headline up one place (at same level). Up does not move a selected headline to a higher level. Rather, Up rearranges the selected headline within its present outline level. When you move a headline up one position, all its subordinate headlines and documents move with it.
Down Moves selected headline down one place (at same level). Down does not move a selected headline to a lower, subordinate level. Rather, Down rearranges the selected headline within its present outline level. When you move a headline down one position, all its subordinate headlines and documents move with it.
Promote Moves all subheads of the selected headline left one place to the same level as the selected headline. Use Promote when you want to raise a series of headlines at the same level to a higher level in the overall outline.
Demote Moves all headlines below and at same level of selected headline one place to the right. Demote is particularly useful when you want to move many headlines at the same level to a subordinate level. By using Demote, you can move them all at once, rather than moving each headline one at a time.
